So I had first ordered a pair of Tommyco GELite knee pads and they are great! So I ordered a pair of Tommyco GelPro knee pads for the added shin guard feature. These GelPro knee pads are designed for tough duty. The main strap is made of a durable material but soft enough not to cause discomfort behind the knee. The calf strap is adjustable (vertically) to allow for different size calves. They are heavier than I thought but I can’t tell while wearing them. They DO NOT move during my work. I don’t have to stop and adjust them every time I kneel down. They are stable and comfortable when kneeling. I can shift my weight when kneeling from knee to shin without any discomfort and still remain stable. If you do much work on a ladder, you know how the next rung up from the one you are on can bruise your shins. Not with these. My wife even used them while doing some gardening and now she wants a pair. Very good product. I hope they last.

Ever play catcher in baseball or goalie in hockey? Well, these pads fit about the same. They are very comfortable on the knees. Plenty of padding on the knee cap and padding on the side of the knee as well. One of the marketing feature is the breathe ability of the pad and I really didn't notice any benefit of that feature. Getting up off the ground, I found myself messing with the upper strap in order to keep the knee pad on the knee. Both knee and calf straps are stretch material. The securing loop clasp for the straps is awkward but functions very well. The securing loop clasp has a slip buckle attached to allow adjustment of the securing straps. Though simple to adjust, it did not hold the stretch strap real well. The length of the knee pad, though noticed while on your knee, creates and awkward fit while walking.

I just finished giving these kneepads a thorough workout yesterday while I poured 2 yards of ceme...I just finished giving these kneepads a thorough workout yesterday while I poured 2 yards of cement slabs. I found that they were very comfortable and protected my shins and knees from the rocky ground I was kneeling on while working the cement. However, they do not stay in place very well and constantly need adjusting. The wide velcro fastener (starts out about 5 inches wide) on the top half caused an excessive amount of sweating while allowing the kneepads to move sideways. The elastic and velcro fastening system needs to be replaced with just a couple simple straps that can be adjusted by pulling them tighter and only be an inch wide so they can be placed, one around the top half and one around the bottom. Nice and soft, but not suited for using all day because you will be adjusting about every half hour of use.

The design of these pads will perform excellently whether you are laying tile, grouting, installing carpet, or pulling weeds in your garden. These kneepads are larger than most and will even cover your shins. The larger size may feel awkward at first, but give it a little time and you will see that these are the right knee pads for you. The added length of the kneepads will cover a larger surface area which will not only disperses your weight evenly but it will also let you to shift your weight between your knees and your shins allowing you to kneel for longer periods of time. Both the knee and calf straps are made of an elastic material, which can stretch to accommodate just about everyone. These straps sit comfortably and securely eliminating the typical irritation behind the knee you get with other brands. Additionally, the calf strap is able to slide in the front of the knee pad which provides minor adjustments ultimately adding to your overall comfort. I have some significant knee problems and I can tell you that these knee pads provide the absolute best comfort which allows me to work for a longer period of time without the days of knee pain once the job is complete.

My knees just aren't what they used to be. I still love working in my yard and on my cars which b...My knees just aren't what they used to be. I still love working in my yard and on my cars which both require kneeling. To give these a real test I planted 9 fruit trees in one afternoon. I dug the holes and watered them in and them proceeded to go from standing to kneeling in dirt, twigs and small rocks for the next couple of hours. The knee pads stayed comfortable with the fabric lining absorbing sweat so they didn't slip around. I wondered about the length being an issue but found it made kneeling more comfortable by giving me the option of getting off my toes and sitting back on my legs. These just became my favorite knee pads.

These are by far the most comfortable knee pads I’ve ever owned and are well worth the investment. The general dimensions are 15-3/4 long by 6-3/4 wide and 3” thick (under the knee). The sole is non-marring and works great on hardwood floors, concrete, subfloor, etc. I did notice that these rotate outward slightly on carpet. Not a big deal for me, just took some getting used to. Waking around was pretty comfortable, didn’t feel awkward, and didn’t drop.
The upper straps are comfortable and breathe well. They also have an orange pull tab which make it was to take off.

Calling these ROUGH TERRIAN KNEE-PADS does not tell the whole story. I have a small pair of Knee ...Calling these ROUGH TERRIAN KNEE-PADS does not tell the whole story. I have a small pair of Knee Pads, they are OK but i wanted more. These are a top of the line type of knee pads so I got them. First, the shin guard going down the leg was a great feature. it protects most of the leg and made these about twice a comfortable as the small ones they replaced. The hard plastic on the front works on hard floors but also works well doing outdoor work. I love these and so do my knees!!

I received my Tommyco eliminator rough terrain kneepads today, They are a very light weight tough knee and shin protector pads.
They have a comfortable gel filled padding inside the knee and shin area. You fasten them with strong Velcro fastener. They fit nicely and do not shift to one side like some knee pads tend to do. I’m very pleased with the fit, comfort and ease in putting them on.
