"Trimmed" only,
This product didn't cover the top step bull nose. Now it looks a double bull nose, we are hoping the rug will cover original step bull nose. There isn't much of a transition to staple the rug. If the molding was designed like the stair laminate they sell, which wraps around bull nose to the riser, this would be a good product.
We give the actual flooring 5 stars, just not this piece.

A- My wife loves( the most important criteria). B- Easy to maintain. C-The flooring was completed prior to our moving all of our furniture into out new dwelling. The floors did not suffer any marks, scratches or dents in the floor. Our walls were not as fortunate from the move.
