The ES Robbins clear vinyl carpet protector is ideal for hallways, entryways and other areas with repetitive foot traffic. Traditional cleats grip carpet to keep runner in place. I have a 9ft x 12ft "bonus" area in my house I needed to make it into an office area. It's carpeted and short of tearing the carpet out of this area and putting down laminate, this was the next best thing. I purchased three of these 3x10ft rolls and they fit the area perfect. I have desks, office chairs, PC towers, cabinets, and other items all on these runners and it's working great.

well made, nice looking product
product was a little stiffer than expected... wanted to remain rolled up... had to work to get it to lie flat... ended up using stair rods to hold it in place on stairs... looks good (it's vinyl), protects carpet very well... we have cats that wanted to sharpen their claws on stairs... this is no longer a problem

The runner is supposed to stay put but moves every step you take. It was very overpriced for the quality. It does keep our carpet clean but I have to move it back in front of the door every day - very annoying.

thank you for asking! the customer service dept...
thank you for asking! the customer service dept was most helpful and courteous. I unpacked the rolls this weekend to see if they would help with what I need. unfortunately, they do not. I need a stiff runner over carpet to allow wheelchairs and walkers to move easier. this vinyl is not stiff and it was actually more difficult to roll over it than the carpet. I have the paperwork and will be bringing them back to the store, in original container. they were out of package for only a short period of time.
no fault to the product - it just does not meet my needs.
