I was generally pleased with this product. It is certainly "heavy duty" vinyl and does protect the carpet, but as I suspected and had asked via the Home Depot question feature, it does not stay in place when installed on a medium nap carpet. I ended up having to nail it down to the sub-floor to keep it stationary. Also, 14 days between the order placement on 6/16 to its delivery on 6/28 seemed excessive to me but I must admit that it beat the original delivery estimate of 7/6.

Otherwise it provides great coverage for those traffic areas in and out of doorways!

Unorthodox use, works perfectlyI used this, turned upside down, to keep a kitten off my kitchen counters and the dining room table. Now that she avoids the areas I put in on other surfaces I want her to avoid. It was easy for me to cut it with a utility knife for different areas. It can be dusted or even vacuumed with an attachment and the surfaces stay clean while she's being trained.
Home Depot has always given me excellent service.
