Work great. Not that comfortable.
Waterproof = Yes. Knee Protection = Yes. Good padding with closed cell foam = Yes. Strap = uncomfortable. These work great for their intended purpose, but the strap retainer is on the inside of the foam and as a consequence it sticks into the side of my leg when I wear them. My use only has me wearing these for about 20 min at a time, so it is tolerable. I can't imagine what it would be like to have this poking the sides of my legs if I had to wear them for longer periods of time.
I would only recommend these if you have a good pain tolerance or only need to wear them for a limited amount of time.

Great for damp or wet locations!
I have used many knee pads over the years and these are great for use on projects in wet locations. The outer shell protects the knee and high-density foam provides comfort. What I like about these pads is the flexibility which help keep out debris and adds comfort for walking VS hard shelled knee pads I also have. These are great for those jobs where it's wet, not just damp. I use these for doing landscaping work when the ground is wet & have to work on hands & knees These are reasonably comfortable, easy to put on and remove with a signal strap that wraps around the upper calf avoiding bunching behind the knee. I just think a longer strip of Velcro should be used since 1 size fits all & my calves aren't big. So I had to be creative for these to be tight enough to stay in place, other than that I'm quite happy with them. Cleaning is easy just wash off at the end of the day or let debris dry off & just knock off the debris as is. Their a great addition to my other work knee pads.

Knee Protectors has it all!
I have been doing construction work for many years. I spent many hours on hard surfaces on my knees.
Because of this I had long and short term knee problems. There were a few reasons why I resisted my better judgement to wear pads. In the summer it was hot and would irritate my skin, with shorts on. During the winter It would crunch up my pants and cause irritation. The main issue was because the pads had two belts to hold them on. These knee pads solves that problem due to a one belt system. They are very well cushioned and have a tough exterior to prolong the life and yet soft enough to prevent cracking and to provide for a soft landing.

After I joined a group of volunteers who build wheelchair ramps for people who can't afford to hire a contractor, I found myself on my knees quite a bit, which is a challenge for a 64 year old. Sometimes the ramps are built on lawns, which can be dewey in the mornings. These knee pads are very comfortable to kneel in, they stay on throughout a several hour job, and they keep your knees from getting wet from surfaces. The only trouble I've had with them is that they make my knees sweat in hot weather. If I'm wearing jeans under them, the knees of the jeans get soaked. That's a small price to pay for the ability to kneel in comfort. I definitely recommend these.

Getting On Your Knees Never Felt So Good
We've all done those projects before where we have to be on our knees for long periods of time and we get up stiff and barely able to walk. Our knees are completely shot and this can cause injuries along with serious pain. Well these foam knee pads really do the trick to help prevent nagging discomfort and allow you to focus on your work at hand. The inner part of the knee pad is a comfortable foam that feels soft on your skin. There are straps that go around your calves that aren't very bothersome either. The outside shell of the knee pad is made of a durable water proof material. I'm not sure why you would be kneeling in a wet area but if there was a spill that needed to be cleaned up, this feature would be extremely useful. The knee pads work great to relieve stress on your knees and feel like they are made of quality materials. I would definitely have these on hand for any floor work you may have to do.

Needs Some Modifications.
First of all , these are better than nothing. At least for me the straps still ride on the back of knee and if you wear shorts and sweat you can get irritation. Solution, cut an old pair of soaks and pull them up over your knee. I also found they would not stay tight, when I tried to tighten them up enough there wasn't enough length on the Velcro ( on the straps) to hold the strap from slipping, so every you stand up the elastic strap would slip loose. Also in having to pull them so tight the plastic tabs on the inside put pressure on both sides of my knee. Yes I will keep these but will install my own modifications.

The BEST knee pads I've ever owned!
These are hands down, the BEST knee pads I've ever owned and I've been through a bunch.
My biggest complaint with knee pads are;
1) they compress after a very short time and leave little between my knee and the floor, and
2) they slip when I go to kneel.
I have to get on my knees for cleaning purposes all day long so I don't want to have to think about my kneepads, I just want them to work.
These pads cover the knees well with the lip at the top, which helps keep them in place while you kneel. So far, the cushioning has held up and not compressed. Every once in a while they DO slip when I go to kneel but the lip makes sure they don't move all the way off your knee. And since the outer layer is rubbery it helps you maintain your position and not have them slipping out from under you as well as making them easier to clean off than gel or fabric-coated kneepads. I'd buy these again for sure!

I use the pads when I mulching. I love that the rubber top folds over the bend in my knee. Now, much less, if any, mulch gets between the pads and my knees. I hope the yellow plastic attachments don't break when I put the pads on or take them off. My old knee pads had metal. I save them just in case.
