Great product, but may not fit everyone
I got these for my wife to use around the yard,since she was looking for some type of pad that would allow her to do gardening comfortably. While many people use a foam pad for such purposes, I thought these might work better because they move with you, so you can jump from spot to spot and not have to carry your pad with you.
A few great things about the product:
(1) It has both a hard outer shell and a soft inner layer, and you can use the pads with both or with just the soft inner layer (for instance for use on a wood floor). My wife did find that the plastic outer shell slipped a bit when she kneeled on our wood deck, so there'd be some instances where it's not possible to use both layers and would therefore lose the extra protection.
(2) it definitely allows you to more comfortably kneel while working
A couple issues she had with the product:
(1) they aren't sized ideally for a woman, as the straps can only get so tight, so they slipped a bit on her.
(2) they caused her to sweat a bit

Comfortable Knee PadsTOUGHBUILT 2-in-1 Knee Pads are soft foam pads with a single wide elastic strap to hold them in place. They come with a harder removable covering to use on rougher surfaces. These are simple knee pads fine for what they are intended. The straps do a good job keeping them in place. I have other more expensive ones which aren't always right for certain jobs. They are hard, really stand up to rough use, but are heavier to wear and more difficult to put on. These, on the other hand, simply strap on either over or under your jeans and you are ready to go. On softer surfaces they are preferred like using them around the house for my DIY projects. They protect your pants when worn on the outside and are comfortable so you don't notice them The feel is very different from my other one's and will choose them first if I can get away with it. As I get older having padding for my knees when working on the floor has become a necessity for projects. The pads are inexpensive and will be used more often for their ease of use and comfort.

Works WellWhether you are working on your floors, outside, or wherever, sometimes you do find yourself killing your back or your legs because sitting on your knees are too uncomfortable. However with some knee pads, you can work comfortably, so having a pair around the house is definitely a huge recommendation. These knee pads specifically aren't exactly made from high end materials, however they work and feel fantastic. I even went about testing them by dropping to my knees on concrete and it might as well have been padded flooring because I felt no impact or shock or discomfort. There are two layers, one of a basic black foam, and then over the foam is a hard clear plastic shell. The pads are shaped so that they sit comfortable on your knees. The velcro straps do the job, however I can tell by looking at them that the velcro will eventually be the downfall of multiple uses of this product. However for the price you get excellent value, so I look forward to using these on my next project as well as gardening this spring and summer.

On the smaller side, okay for around the house projectsThese are basic knee pads, good for projects around the house, and for someone with a smaller build. These are not thick, cushy knee pads. They have a hard shell to protect your knees, but none of the thick padding that would make them good for extended use being on your knees all day. These are cheap enough you can throw a pair in the garage or in your toolbox for an emergency pair. There are other styles from this brand that are designed for extended wear, I would invest in one of those if you need something with more cushion. Also, if you are a bigger guy or woman these will probably feel very small and not fit very well. My husband is 6'4 and these looked absolutely tiny on him, but are perfect on me (5'7 and medium build).

Great for flooring workThese kneepads are lightweight enough that you can forget they're there, but comfortable enough that it's completely realistic to work all day on your knees on, say, a flooring project. Forget trouble with setting your knee on a piece of rock or a screw -- these keep your knees comfy even on rough gravelly surfaces. One great feature -- the shell can be removed, in case the pads need to be extra-friendly to a delicate surface.

Very comfortableI've skimped on knee pads before for home projects and my knees have paid the price for the next several days. With these babies there will be no more sore knees. These are well-padded and super comfortable. very durable and look like they can take a beating. It is not worth saving a few bucks on cheap knee pads. You only get one pair of knees so you better treat them right, or it will be off to the orthopedic surgeon!

Knee Pads Don't Have To Hurt Your KneesThese knee pads are not like others I've used before. They're not uncomfortable, the retaining strap is below your knee. It doesn't bunch up and cause discomfort when kneeling.
The optional hard cover is very useful when using them in a gravel or hard surface environment. The ability to remove this and use the soft surface is useful for delicate wood floors or other surfaces you are concerned about scratching.

kneepads are great but the velcro straps wear out fast and I dont know how to replace themIf I had a way to replace the straps they would be great but since I dont and they wear out fast
