We purchased this product to transition from tile to laminate. The product does what it needs to do, which is why I rated it 2/5 stars. HOWEVER, this is the second product we have purchased from Home Depot, in the past month, that arrived damaged (thank goodness we only required about half of it for our transition). This product was snapped completely in half, which even caused the metal under it to bend (see pictures below). We are extremely disappointed with the service of Home Depot recently, as this is the second product that has arrived damaged. We understand that accidents do happen, however Home Depot has not been handling the situations appropriately. We also believe Home Depot, as well as the companies that sell through them, need to package more effectively instead of packaging as cheaply as possible causing damage to occur. We typically don't post poor product reviews, however, we wanted others to know of our "bad luck" because you will have to wait additional weeks for this product to be shipped to you again (or worse... like the situation we have had deal with for an appliance that arrived damaged).

Decent quality for laminateAfter I installed, I used a rubber mallet to secure in place. It then became unbonded. I had to reglue. Okay product for money spent.
