Wow, installing hardwood just got easier! This versatile little gun does it all, nails or staples with or without the flooring shoe. I picked up some 18 gauge narrow crown staples and it was able to drive them through oak flooring into a pine 2x4 without any problems. I had to adjust the flooring feet all the way up for this pre-finished 3/4" hardwood tongue and groove flooring, but the results were great. This will make our next flooring project a real breeze!

I'm impressed with the WEN 4-in-1 18-gauge pneumatic flooring nailer and stapler and would defini...I'm impressed with the WEN 4-in-1 18-gauge pneumatic flooring nailer and stapler and would definitely recommend for the home remodeler or professional. I like the adjustable angle foot which allows you to adapt the nailer to the specific type of flooring being installed. It is removable so the tool can be used as a conventional stapler/nailer. I found that it work best on the high side of the recommended pressure at about 90psi and at that pressure it drove the nails in better. It comes with oil and allen wrenches to change out the head and make adjustments. The instruction manual is easy to read and gives clear direction on maintenance of the tool and also troubleshooting.

The plastic alignment tab at the front is rather cheap and doesn't do a great job of aligning the nailer. It's also not strong enough to drive brads through thick or strong flooring. I had a problem getting nails to set deep enough into the tongue of my bamboo floor boards. If you need a nailer, it's fine. Don't expect to do decent flooring work with it.

Plastic foot can be removed so that you can use it as a regular nail gun for the edge next to the wall or for moldings. It does need to be oiled periodically. It comes with easy to read instructions with trouble shooting guide. It makes that flooring job go a lot easier and quicker. It also comes with its own plastic carrying case.

About every 5th nail wouldn't have enough uumph to go through the flooring and would fold over on...About every 5th nail wouldn't have enough uumph to go through the flooring and would fold over on itself thus making the next board unable to be seated until the brad is pulled . I was using the correct (and highest) psi recommended on the gun and it was well oiled. I ended up switching over to my other 18 gauge brad nailer and freehanding the rest with the same psi's with no issues. Great concept, bad execution. I might have to return it.

The front "alinement tab" is plastic and kept falling off....The front "alinement tab" is plastic and kept falling off. The tab is key to correct placement of the staple.
I would not recomend this tool!
