The unit is worth the money I paid for it. , but by no means is it a top quality or fancy unit. But you can tell that by the pic and information provided on the web site. I was going to prefab a insert box, but found it would not be certified for inspections and it would have cost more. I'm doing custom work around the outside of it , which will make it awesome looking when finished. They didn't ship the hood piece with original order one month ago. I called , they sent one out . It came damaged a week later. Still waiting on the next one. Home depot took $50 off.. I would just like to get the part so I can use unit before summer arrives. You can see what looks like rust under the black powder coating inside the firebox, but you don't see it as long as it doesn't peel of when heated.
