Allowed damage to oak hardwood and stripped finish off Oak Hardwood Floor upon removal. Blue tape with Ram Board previously used both protected and did not damage finish. Product moderately protects hardwood floors. Product suffered several punctures, dents and allowed damage to a #1 Oak finish in excellent surface condition hardwood floor. Seeing that is was not sufficiently protecting the floor, we took it up to put on a more protective material. It completely removed the hardwood floor finish. The long set of stairs, that was previously protected well despite greater abuse, now requires a $1,000 full complete sanding and refinishing. Product should have a HUGE WARNING not to use it on professionally finished hardwood floors. It is neither sufficiently protective, allowing damage and will do massive damage to the floor upon removal.

Do not use on Hardwood FlooringI just bought a house and we put this down on our hardwood floors from the entrance to the stair case and up the hardwood staircase. When we took it off yesterday it destroyed my stairs! It completely ripped the finish off my stairs! The reason I put the plastic down was to prevent any damage to my stairs and just the opposite happened! It also pulled the finish off of my living room hardwood. This product needs to taked hardwood off of the title and maybe just for tile and stone! Now I have to pay thousands of dollars I don't have to refinish my floor!

Great floor protectionI have used this on tile floor to protect it during some remodeling and it worked great.
There was dust, spilled paint and wood chips and this film protected my floor and made clean up easy.
I also used it on commercial carpet during painting and it stuck well, making it easier to use than drop clothes since it stayed in place.
