I had a 24" x 72" carpet in my bathroom. It was on a tile floor and it had a habit of sliding. I installed four strips of this product on the floor as directed, removed the blue backing and finally placed the carpet in place. Be sure to clean the floor thoroughly before mounting the tape. Any dust or oils will prevent it from adhering to the floor. The product works as advertised. No more sliding.

The tape did not stick very well to the floor or the rug leaving the rug as movable and slippery ...The tape did not stick very well to the floor or the rug leaving the rug as movable and slippery as before. It seems the package may have been previously purchased and returned to the store shelf. I returned it to the store and customer service was excellent as the representative gave a complete refund.
