!!Multiple Uses,Great Quality+Great Price=Great Stuff!! I've used this Tape before, for sheet vinyl-linoleum flooring with good results...
But this time I bought to use for securing an indoor floor mat, by Backdoor in Mudroom+by Frontdoor also...!!And it works great for this!!
And is easily removable from mat and vinyl floor, when I need to wash/clean mat and re-secure with new tape.
Also works great, (when desired) as a (thinner-type) double-stick tape...Also as a (quick-fix) for repairing carpet seams.
[There's a 1/2" wide roll of tape, called (Sticky-Joe) that I use and like a lot...And works good, for other (mostly temporary) applications]
But this (Roberts Max Grip Tape) grips better and is stronger having a nylon thredded backing...
I've used other (Roberts Brand) flooring adhesive products, with Great Results also... !!So I Highly Recommended this Product!!

This is really tacky tape. Worked well for the loose lay vinyl I installed across the traffic areas. Had som let over and used it to mount backsplash panels in the kitchen I was remodeling instead of construction adhesive. You can pull back and reposition fairly easily.

Easy to apply & really grips!
I used this roll adhesive to install new vinyl flooring in a small entryway about 4 by 9'. Didn't want to use the normal adhesive (that you'd apply with a notched trowel) because we couldn't prevent foot traffic long enough for that other kind of adhesive to cure. This adhesive tape was very quick and easy to use. I used it around the perimeter of the area, about 1/2 inch in from the edge of the vinyl, plus one strip the long way in the center of the piece. Extremely easy to use, and once in place this tape REALLY holds!
I suggest you cut your vinyl almost to size first, then roll the vinyl up long-wise. Lay the installation tape down on your subfloor leaving the top "non-stick" paper temporarily on the strip. Pull off about a 2 foot section of the top paper to reveal the sticky surface. Position the edge of the vinyl on that paper and very lightly press into place. Unroll the vinyl to check that it still fits where you want it to go; re-position if needed. Then roll the vinyl back up again, and, working a small segment at a time, pull off the top paper strip from the adhesive tape & roll the vinyl out on it, making sure you have no big air pockets and pressing lightly as you go. When the entire vinyl sheet is in place, make any final trim cuts along the edges. Lastly, go back and press down firmly everywhere the adhesive tape is underneath.

Double-Sided Adhesive Tape
I purchased this product on October 25, 2010. I needed a sticky double-sided tape product to securely install Home Depot's "TrafficMaster Active Tile" to four tool bin tops but also required it to be removed at a later date when the tile is no longer serviceable. This tape is the ticket! After measuring and cutting each tile to ensure a flush fit, I installed two pieces in an "X" pattern on the reverse side prior to placement on the tool bin tops. You have no worries of the tile shifting...even when moving heavy tools and equipment on the tile. Purchase THIS if you need to secure anything. On a test run with the double-backed tape and a small piece of tile, I confirmed that the tiles are removable (if so desired at a later date)--with a little bit of elbow grease. BUY! You will NOT be disappointed.

Highly reccomend providing you can use this method
I had to pull up the 8 month old piece of vinyl flooring I had put in my bathroom. The installer did a "loose lay" and I was having issues with the floor sticking to a wet foot when getting out of the shower. The floor just felt cheap. So I rolled the floor up and did some investigating. I reviewed this product and the others carried at other big box home improvements. I went with this product due to reviews and the fact it is not like a double sided clear tape, more of a glue. For a small bathroom it was so simple. I put the tap down where I wanted it and left the backing on. Put the floor down and positioned it where I wanted it. Sat down in the middle, lifted the edge and pulled the paper off the tape. Start from center of tape and worked outwards. Cant be happier with the results. Just make sure your foundation that you are putting the tape on is fresh, clean and dry. NO DUST. Same for the vinyl back side.
